Ardnamurchan Distillery's results in The International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC).

We are delighted to have achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 2024 IWSC. 

Our AD/Core Single Malt was awarded 95 points by the esteemed IWSC panel of judges, this is what they said:  “Rich caramelized banana and burnt sugar notes lead the way, followed by a delicate touch of citrus orange and aromatic smoke with a smooth and satisfying length.”

 This whisky retails in the UK for less than £50, great value for such a wonderful dram.  Buy it here.

The bolder and livelier AD/Cask Strength was awarded bronze by the same panel. The Cask Strength is a peatier, stronger version of our Core that retails in the UK around £65. The judges said: “Lively notes of stewed apple, rhubarb, cinnamon, and custard. Palate is nutty, fruity, with hints of milk chocolate and ashy peat smoke all lingering on the finish.” Buy it here. 

Our Maclean's Nose Blended Scotch has been around for just over one year and has not stopped winning awards since its launch. On this occasion it achieved silver with 92 points and we couldn't be prouder. The judges tasting notes on our Maclean's Nose Blended Scotch were: "Toasted oak, star anise and delicate smoke. Fruity on the palate with creamy custard notes." Buy it here.
